Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .

  2. Lower the rear edge of the headliner in order to access the washer hose to headliner hose connection. Refer to Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the rear washer hose connection at the headliner hose.

  4. Gently disconnect the electrical harness grommet (7) from the rear header.
  5. Disconnect (1) the jumper harness end from (2) the main body harness electrical connector.
  6. Disconnect the liftgate harness grommet (10) from the liftgate.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector (9) at the liftgate.

  8. Disconnect the washer hose (12) from the liftgate retainers.
  9. Disconnect the liftgate hose (12) from the washer nozzle hose at the right side of the liftgate.
  10. Remove the washer hose and liftgate jumper harness from the liftgate side (10) of the vehicle.
