Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the bracket to the vehicle.
Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.
Tighten: Tighten the bracket to frame nuts to 90 N.m (67 lb ft).
Install the air conditioning compressor -4.8 L, 5.3 L and 6.0 L engines. Refer to Compressor Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
Install the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (1500 4WD) or Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (2500 4WD) .
Lower the vehicle.
