Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel tank module. Refer to Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (1500 LWB - 117.3L (31 gal) Tank + E85)  or Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (1500 SWB - 98.4L (26 gal) Tank + E85)  or Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (1500 Series)  or Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (2500 LWB - 43.5L (11.5 gal) Tank-Rear)  or Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (2500 LWB - 98.4L (26 gal) Tank-Front) .
  2. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1) from under the module cover.

  4. Release the fuel level sensor retaining clip (1).
  5. Slide the fuel level sensor down off of the bucket.
