Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel tank module. Refer to Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (1500 LWB - 117.3L (31 gal) Tank + E85)  or Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (1500 SWB - 98.4L (26 gal) Tank + E85)  or Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (1500 Series)  or Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (2500 LWB - 43.5L (11.5 gal) Tank-Rear)  or Fuel Tank Pump Module Replacement (2500 LWB - 98.4L (26 gal) Tank-Front) .
  2. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connectors (1).

  4. Disengage the retainers (1) and slide the fuel level sensor up.

  6. Remove the fuel level sensor from the module.
