Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

  3. Loosen the air cleaner housing screws.
  4. Lift up the air cleaner housing cover.
  5. Remove the air filter element.
