Removal Procedure

  1. Fold the second row seats full forward.
  2. Lower the midgate window to the full open position.
  3. Remove the rear folding floor trim panels. Refer to Seat Back Cover Replacement - Rear Folding .

  5. Remove the lower center garnish molding (4). Refer to Endgate Center Molding Replacement .
  6. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement .

  8. Remove the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement .

  10. Remove the midgate window channels. Refer to Midgate Window Channel Replacement .
  11. Remove the midgate window regulator. Refer to Midgate Window Regulator Replacement .
  12. Remove the midgate latches. Refer to Midgate Latch Replacement .

  14. Remove the midgate electrical harness. Refer to Folding Rear Panel Harness Replacement .
  15. Fig 5: Midgate Hinges

  16. Remove the midgate hinges. Refer to Midgate Hinge Replacement .
  17. With the aid of an assistant, remove the midgate structure from the vehicle.
