Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant, position the midgate structure (3) to the vehicle.

  3. Install the midgate hinges. Refer to Midgate Hinge Replacement .

  5. Install the midgate electrical harness. Refer to Folding Rear Panel Harness Replacement .
  6. Install the midgate latches. Refer to Midgate Latch Replacement .
  7. Install the midgate window channels. Refer to Midgate Window Channel Replacement .
  8. Install the midgate window regulator. Refer to Midgate Window Regulator Replacement .

  10. Install the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement .

  12. Install the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement .

  14. Install the lower center garnish molding (4). Refer to Endgate Center Molding Replacement .
  15. Install the rear folding floor trim panels. Refer to Seat Back Cover Replacement - Rear Folding .
  16. Close the midgate.
  17. Close the midgate window.
  18. Adjust the midgate window, if needed. Refer to Midgate Window Adjustment .
  19. Reposition the second row seats.
