Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the midgate window sealing strip. Refer to Midgate Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  3. Remove the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement .
  4. Remove the midgate window regulator. Refer to Midgate Window Regulator Replacement .
  5. Remove the midgate window run channels. Refer to Midgate Window Channel Replacement .
  6. Remove the midgate sliding hinge filler panel rivets.
  7. Remove the midgate hinged filler panel from the structure.

  8. Remove the bolts retaining the midgate outer panel to the midgate structure.
  9. Remove the midgate outer panel from the midgate.
