Installation Procedure

  1. Install the midgate outer panel to the midgate assembly.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the midgate sliding hinge filler panel.
  4. Install the rivets retaining the midgate outer panel to the midgate structure.
  5. Install the midgate window run channels. Refer to Midgate Window Channel Replacement .
  6. Install the midgate window regulator. Refer to Midgate Window Regulator Replacement .
  7. Install the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement .
  8. Install the midgate window sealing strip. Refer to Midgate Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  9. Install the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement .
