Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Hood Hold-Open Device Caution .
  1. Open the hood.
    2. Fig 1: Underhood Lighting Electrical Connectors & Wiring Harness

  2. Disconnect the underhood lighting electrical connectors and remove the wiring harness (1) from the hood.

  3. With the hood properly supported, remove the hood support cables by removing the hood support cable pins (1).
  4. Remove the hood hinges. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
  5. With the aid of assistants, remove the hood from the vehicle.
