Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: The hood latch release cable must be connected to the hood latch support bracket.

Install the hood latch release cable to the hood latch.

Align the hood latch to the grease pencil marks on the hood latch support bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the fasteners (2) to the hood latch.
Tighten: Tighten the hood latch fasteners to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).
