Installation Procedure

  1. Align the hood handle to the hood.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
    2. Fig 1: Hood Handle & Fasteners

  2. Install the fasteners (1) retaining the hood handle to the hood.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).

  3. Install the hood insulator. Refer to Hood Insulator Replacement .
  4. Close the hood.
