Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Hummer H2. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the filler pocket to the body quarter panel opening.
    2. Fig 1: Fuel Pocket

  2. Rotate the pocket (1) 1/8 turn clockwise in order to secure to the body quarter panel.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the screws (1) into the pocket (2) in order to secure the pocket to the filler neck (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Attach the fuel cap tether (3) to the fuel fill pocket (4).
  5. Secure the fuel fill cap (2) to the fuel fill neck (1).
