Installation Procedure

  1. Align the fender extension (4) to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the fasteners (2) retaining the side of the fender extension to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).

  3. Install the fasteners (1) retaining the rear of the fender extension to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 14 N.m (10 lb ft).

  4. Install the fender flare. Refer to Front Wheel Opening Flare Replacement (Base) or Front Wheel Opening Flare Replacement (WS2, BVX, Lower) or Front Wheel Opening Flare Replacement (WS2, BVX, Upper) .
  5. Install the fastener (3) retaining the bottom of the fender extension to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fastener to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).

  6. Close the door.
  7. Close the hood.
