Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Midgate Components

  2. Remove the lower interior center molding (4). Refer to Endgate Center Molding Replacement .
  3. Remove the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement .
  4. Remove the midgate window regulator. Refer to Midgate Window Regulator Replacement .
  5. Remove the midgate latches. Refer to Midgate Latch Replacement .

  6. Release the midgate wiring harness retainers from the midgate structure.
  7. Release the wire harness grommet from the midgate structure.
  8. Remove the midgate wiring harness from the midgate.
