Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution .
  1. Raise the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Locating O2 Sensor

    NOTE: Refer to HEATED OXYGEN AND OXYGEN SENSOR NOTICE .
  2. Disconnect the connector (1) for the HO2S.
    3. NOTE: Refer to EXCESSIVE FORCE AND OXYGEN SENSOR NOTICE .
  3. Remove the HO2S (2) using a J 39194-B  .
