Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the thermostat housing to the water pump.
  2. Install the thermostat housing bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  3. Install the radiator outlet hose.

  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct clamps at the throttle body and at the mass airflow (MAF) sensor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill) .
