Removal & Installation Procedure

Install the 2 master cylinder reservoir grommets to the master cylinder, if removed.

IMPORTANT: Apply a small amount of clean brake fluid from a sealed container to the master cylinder reservoir grommets prior to installing the reservoir.

Release the power brake booster inlet hose clamp (1), connect the hose and install the master cylinder reservoir (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the master cylinder reservoir bolt (1).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

Install the master cylinder reservoir roll pin (1).

Install the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector (1) to the sensor bracket.

Remove the CH-47830 (1) from the master cylinder assembly.
Install the brake master cylinder and power brake booster assembly. Refer to Brake Master Cylinder with Power Brake Booster and Chassis Control Module Replacement .
Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling .
