Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hitch to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the hitch bolts to the frame.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

  3. Install the electrical or air suspension components to the hitch.
  4. Install the bumper. Refer to Rear Bumper Replacement (SUT) or Rear Bumper Replacement (SUV) .
