Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper. Refer to Rear Bumper Replacement (SUT) or Rear Bumper Replacement (SUV) .
  2. Remove the bolts (4) from the trailer hitch to frame (5).

  3. Remove the 2 bolts (1) from the rear edge of the air suspension compressor bracket (2).
  4. Disconnect the electrical harness conduit from the inside of the trailer hitch.

  5. With the aid of an assistant, remove the trailer hitch from the frame rail.
