Diagnostic Aids

Some midgate power window system faults will cause the midgate module to operate the power window in the Error/Jog mode while commanding the window UP or DOWN. The system will go into the Error/Jog mode whenever the midgate module is unable to determine the position of the glass due to memory corruption or Hall sensor failures. One of the switches stuck in the UP position can also cause the Error/Jog mode to occur.
