Installation Procedure

  1. Position the side rail end cap to the roof panel.
  2. Lock the forward edge of the end cap into the luggage carrier rail.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the luggage rail screw to the end cap side rail.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the rear end cap screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the end cap screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. If equipped with a luggage carrier cross rail, reposition and secure the lock knobs.

  6. Install the clear clearance lamp. Refer to Clearance Lamp Replacement (SUT Front) or Clearance Lamp Replacement (SUT Rear) or Clearance Lamp Replacement (SUV) .
