Removal Procedure

  1. Swing the spare tire carrier fully outward.
  2. Open the endgate.
  3. Open the midgate and release the midgate weatherstrip from the lower pinch-weld flange.

  4. Remove the floor tie down bracket bolts (1).
  5. Remove the tie down loops (2).
  6. Lift the rear body opening frame floor from the body.

  7. With a flat-bladed tool, pry the floor drain (1) gently upward in order to release the drain from the cargo box.
  8. Remove the drain valve (2) from the vehicle.
