Installation Procedure

  1. Install the midgate weatherstrip to the pinch-weld flange. Begin at either side upper corner.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Press the weatherstrip onto the pinch-weld flange, working around the upper midgate opening down to the front edge of the floor cargo liner.

    Tighten:  Tighten both sail panel screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Close the midgate.
  4. Power the window to the full up position.
  5. Inspect the weatherstrip for wrinkles and correct.
