Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant, position the midgate structure (3) to the vehicle.

  2. Install the midgate hinges. Refer to Midgate Hinge Replacement .

  3. Install the midgate electrical harness. Refer to Folding Rear Panel Harness Replacement .
  4. Install the midgate latches. Refer to Midgate Latch Replacement .
  5. Install the midgate window channels. Refer to Midgate Window Channel Replacement .
  6. Install the midgate window regulator. Refer to Midgate Window Regulator Replacement .

  7. Install the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement .

  8. Install the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement .

  9. Install the lower center garnish molding (4). Refer to Endgate Center Molding Replacement (SUT) .
  10. Install the rear folding floor trim panels. Refer to Rear Folding Seat Back Cover Replacement .
  11. Close the midgate.
  12. Close the midgate window.
  13. Adjust the midgate window, if needed. Refer to Midgate Window Adjustment .
  14. Reposition the second row seats.
