Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement .
  3. Remove the midgate window regulator assembly. Refer to Midgate Window Regulator Replacement .

  4. Mark the position of the midgate hinges (2) using a grease pencil.
  5. Mark the position of the midgate hinge reinforcement (1) using a grease pencil.
  6. Remove the nuts retaining the midgate hinge reinforcement to the midgate.
  7. Remove the hinge reinforcement plate (1) from the midgate.
