Installation Procedure

  1. Route wiring harness through the passthrough holes (1).
  2. Noting proper routing, attach all the retainers securing the harness to the liftgate.
  3. Connect the rear defroster grid connectors.
  4. Connect the rear wiper module connectors.
  5. Connect the rear wiper motor electrical connectors.
  6. Connect the lock actuator electrical connector.
  7. Connect the latch electrical connectors.
  8. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (SUV) .
