Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: The hood latch release cable must be connected to the hood latch support bracket.
  1. Install the hood latch release cable to the hood latch.
    2. Fig 1: Hood Latch Fasteners

  2. Align the hood latch to the grease pencil marks on the hood latch support bracket.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the fasteners (2) to the hood latch.

    Tighten:  Tighten the hood latch fasteners to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).
