Installation Procedure

  1. With the hood properly supported, position the hinge to the front bumper support.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the bolts (2) retaining the hinge to the front bumper support.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the nuts (1) retaining the hinge to the hood.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  4. Adjust the hood, if necessary.
