Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Hinge Trunnion Bolts

  1. Install the hinge trunnion to the endgate.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the bolts retaining the hinge to the endgate.

    Tighten: 

    1. Tighten the lower forward bolt (2) to 25 N.m (19 lb ft).
    2. Tighten the lower rear bolt (1) to 25 N.m (19 lb ft).

  3. Install the endgate to the vehicle. Refer to Endgate Replacement .
