Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the midgate window to the full open/down position.
  2. Open the midgate.
    3. Fig 1: Midgate Latch Striker

  3. Remove the screws retaining the midgate latch striker to the body.
  4. Remove the midgate latch striker and shim (if equipped) from the pillar.
