Circuit/System Verification

  1. Install a scan tool and with the front doors closed, verify the DDS and PDS door ajar switch parameters are Inactive.
    • If either of the door ajar switch parameters are Active while the doors are closed perform the Front Door Ajar Switch Circuit Test.
  2. Open the doors and verify the door ajar switch parameters are Active.
    • If either of the door ajar switch parameters are Inactive while the doors are open perform the Front Door Ajar Switch Circuit Test.
  3. With the rear doors closed, verify the BCM door ajar switch parameters are Door Closed.
    • If either of the door ajar switch parameters are Door Ajar while the doors are closed perform the Rear Door Ajar Switch Circuit Test.
  4. Open the doors and verify the door ajar switch parameters are Door Ajar.
    • If either of the door ajar switch parameters are Door Closed while the doors are open perform the Rear Door Ajar Switch Circuit Test.
  5. If the door ajar switch inputs to the DDS, PDS, and BCM function normally replace the IPC.
