Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Windshield Washer Switch parameter while pressing and releasing the windshield washer switch. The reading should change between Active and Inactive.
    • If not the specified values refer to Circuit/System Testing  for The Windshield Washer Switch Circuit Test.
  2. Verify that a test lamp connected to ground illuminates on the supply side of the windshield wash fuse when the windshield wash switch is activated.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate refer to Circuit/System Testing  for Windshield Wash Relay Control Circuit Test.
  3. Verify that a test lamp connected to ground illuminates on the supply side of the rear window wash fuse when the rear window wash switch is activated.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate Rear Window Wash Relay Control Circuit Test.
