Both DTC C0710 and C1100 Set

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the brake booster vacuum sensor and the steering angle sensor.
  2. Ignition ON, test for 4.8 - 5.2 V between the 5 V reference circuit terminals listed below and ground.
    • Terminal 3 at the brake booster vacuum sensor
    • Terminal 1 at the steering angle sensor
    • If less than the specified range, test both 5 V reference circuits for a short to ground. If the circuits test normal, replace the EBCM.
    • If greater than the specified range, test both 5 V reference circuits for a short to voltage. If the circuits test normal, replace the EBCM.
  3. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the brake booster sensor or steering angle sensor as required.
