Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Hood Hold-Open Device Caution .
  1. Open the hood.
    2. Fig 1: Hood Hold-Open Rod

  2. Remove the hood hold-open rod from the plastic retainer (3).
  3. Remove the fastener (2) retaining the rod (1) to the vehicle.
  4. Remove the rod from the vehicle.
