Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Hood Hold-Open Device Caution .

  1. With the hood properly supported, remove the nuts (1) retaining the hood to the hinge.
  2. With the hood still supported, remove the bolts (2) retaining the hinge to the front bumper support.
  3. Remove the hinge.
  4. With the aid of an assistant, carefully close the hood.
