SERVICE INFORMATION

Should an H2 customer indicate that their vehicle experiences leak-down of the rear air suspension while parked overnight or for an extended period, the following general diagnostic and repair procedure is recommended. Check all air lines and connections, the air spring assemblies and the air compressor valve manifold assembly for leaks using a soap solution. If a leak is detected, replace the affected component. If the leak-down occurs intermittently and cannot be detected, replace only the compressor valve manifold assembly. There is no reason to replace the entire compressor for this condition. The valve manifold assembly part number for the single compressor system is 88982408 and for the dual compressor system, 89060854. Refer to PI #PIT3503 (PIT3509 ).
