IMPORTANT: Before disconnecting the Bose(R) amplifier for an audio system speaker diagnostic procedure, the 30 Amp Amplifier fuse must be removed from the Underhood Bussed Electrical Center (UBEC).

SERVICE INFORMATION

When diagnosing a condition of no audio from one or more channels, the 30 Amp Amplifier fuse must be removed from the UBEC before beginning any speaker/wire diagnosis.

Failure to remove the 30 Amp fuse from the UBEC can result in a damaged Bose(R) amplifier. When the wires are reconnected to the amplifier with the fuse in place, the resulting electrical surge can cause a failure of the Bose(R) amplifiers internal components.
