Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal: Installation

  1. Lubricate inner and outer diameter of seal with engine oil. Place seal on Seal Installer (J-39084). Position seal installer against crankshaft.
  2. Mount seal installer on crankshaft flange. Rotate seal installer handle until installer bottoms on flange. Remove seal installer. Install flywheel, clutch (M/T) and transmission. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
