Wireless Seat Belt Reminder System Pairing: Procedure

NOTICE:  

• The wireless seat belt reminder system must be paired whenever you do any of these actions:
  • Replacing the seat belt reminder transceiver.
  • Replacing the second row center seat.
  • Replacing the body control module.
  • A seat belt reminder transceiver is installed to the vehicle from another vehicle. It includes when the seat is from another vehicle.

1. Wireless Seat Belt Reminder System - Pairing

   Preconditions 

   • Close all doors and tailgate.
   • Buckle center rear second seat belt and ensure all other buckles are unbuckled.
   • Install the seat in the correct position.
   • HDS Connected

   Procedure 

   • Select the following menu buttons on the HDS screen in sequence.
     1. TPMS/Wireless Seat Belt Reminder System (System Selection Menu)
     2. Adjustment
     3. Wireless Seat Belt Reminder System Pairing
   • Buckle the seat belt, and make sure the belt status for that seat location show green belt status in the gauge control module.
   • Unbuckle the seat belt, and make sure the belt status for that seat location show red belt status in the gauge control module.
   • When the pairing of all removable seats is complete, make sure there is no rear seat belt reminder system problem warning in the gauge control module.
