Wireless Seat Belt Reminder System Description

Overview

The wireless seat belt reminder system wirelessly transmits seat belt information from any removable seat to the body control module so that it can be communicated to the gauge control module. The system detects a seat belt reminder transceiver in the vehicle during vehicle start-up operation, rear door operation and tailgate operation. While the vehicle is ON mode, the system continuously monitors buckle switch status from any removable seat.
