DTC U1281  : Left Side BSI Radar Unit Lost Communication With MICU

DTC U1281  : Right Side BSI Radar Unit Lost Communication With MICU

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .

DTC (BSI)

1. Problem verification

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   Clear DTC

   -3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 2 seconds.

   -5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   U1281 Left side BSI radar unit lost communication with MICU
   U1281 Right side BSI radar unit lost communication with MICU

   Is DTC U1281 indicated?

   YES 

   Go to the multiplex integrated control system general troubleshooting . If the symptom is still present, replace the appropriate BSI radar unit .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
