DTC P0441 (6-Speed A/T, 16-18 9-Speed A/T)
DTC P0441 : EVAP System Purge Flow Malfunction
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems .
- If DTC P0441 is indicated alone, do the troubleshooting for DTC P0496 and P0497 or DTC P04DF and P04F1 using the on-board snapshot for P0441.
- If DTC P0497 or P04F1 and P0441 are stored at the same time, check for a poor connection, a blockage, or damage at the EVAP canister purge line between the EVAP canister purge valve and the EVAP canister. Also check for a stuck closed EVAP canister purge valve.
- If any of the DTCs listed below are indicated at the same time as DTC P0441, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for P0441.

- DTC check
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC P0441 EVAP System Purge Flow Malfunction P0496 EVAP System High Purge Flow Detected P0497 EVAP System Low Purge Flow Detected P04DF VAP System High Purge Flow Detected P04F1 EVAP System Low Purge Flow Detected Are DTC P0496, P0497, P04DF or P04F1 and P0441 indicated at the same time?
YES
Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
NO
Go to the troubleshooting for DTC P0496 or P04DF and DTC P0497 or P04F1 .
