  1. Paddle shifter check

-1. Remove the Driver's Airbag - Removal and Installation

    - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

    Paddle shifter + (upshift switch) 4P connector*1
    Paddle shifter - (downshift switch) 4P connector*2

    - 3. Test the paddle shifter. Paddle Shifter Test (9-Speed A/T)

    Is the paddle shifter OK?

    YES

The Paddle Shifter is OK. Go to step 2.

    NO

Replace the Paddle Shifter Removal and Installation (9-Speed A/T) .

  2. Fuse check

    -1. Check the following fuse

    Fuse No. C25 (15A)
    Location Under-dash fuse/relay box

    Is the fuse OK?

    YES

    Go to step 3.

    NO

Replace the No. C25 (15 A) fuse, and recheck. If the fuse blows again, repair a short to ground in the No. C25 (15 A) fuse circuit.

  3. Open wire check (ILLUMI+/ILLUMI+(B) circuit)

    -1. Disconnect the following connector.

    Under-dash fuse/relay box R (16P) connector

    - 2. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF mode
Paddle shifter + (upshift switch) 4P connector*1: disconnected
Paddle shifter - (downshift switch) 4P connector*2: disconnected
    Under-dash fuse/relay box R (16P) connector: disconnected
Test point 1 Paddle shifter + (upshift switch) 4P connector No. 4*1
