F-CAN CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018)

  1. F-CAN circuit resistance check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

    SCS Short

    - 3. Disconnect the following connector.

    PCM connector A (51P)

    - 4. Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.

    F-CAN A circuit 

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    Test point 1 PCM connector A (51P) No. 9 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .
    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 10 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .

    F-CAN B circuit 

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    Test point 1 PCM connector A (51P) No. 11 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .
    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 12 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .

    - 5. Compare the results in step 1-4 with the following table.

      F-CAN A circuit F-CAN B circuit
    Pattern 1 43 - 56 Ω 103 - 126 Ω
    Pattern 2 Less than 43 Ω or
    More than 56 Ω
    103 - 126 Ω
    Pattern 3 43 -5 6 Ω Less than 103 Ω or
    More than 126 Ω
    Pattern 4 Less than 43 Ω or
    More than 56 Ω
    Less than 103 Ω or
    More than 126 Ω

    Which pattern do the results match?

    Pattern 1

    Go to step 21.

    Pattern 2

    Go to step 2.

    Pattern 3

    Go to step 3.

    Pattern 4

    Go to step 2.

  2. Shorted wire check (F-CAN A_H line to F-CAN A_L line)

    -1. Disconnect the following connectors.

    NOTE:  Before disconnecting the SRS unit connector, do the 12 Volt Battery Terminal Disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

    • VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector
    • TCM 58P connector
    • SBW shifter control module 20P connector
    • Engine mount control unit 16P connector
    • Gauge control module 32P connector
    • Steering angle sensor 4P connector
    • ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector
    • EPS control unit connector B (8P)
    • Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P)
    • SRS unit connector A (39P)
    • Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P)
    • Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector
    • i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD)

    - 2. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 PCM connector A (51P) No. 9 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .
    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 10 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    Repair a short in the F-CAN A_H wire to F-CAN A_L wire between PCM terminals A9 and A10.

    NO (Pattern 2)

    The F-CAN A_H and F-CAN A_L wires are not shorted. Go to step 4.

    NO (Pattern 4)

    The F-CAN A_H and F-CAN A_L wires are not shorted. Go to step 3.

  3. Shorted wire check (F-CAN B_H line to F-CAN B_L line)

    -1. If not already done, disconnect the following connectors.

    • TCM 58P connector
    • SBW shifter control module 20P connector

    - 2. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected (if already done)
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected (if already done)
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected (if already done)
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected (if already done)
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected (if already done)
    Test point 1 PCM connector A (51P) No. 11 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .
    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 12 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    Repair a short in the F-CAN B_H wire to F-CAN B_L wire between PCM terminals A11 and A12.

    NO (Pattern 3)

    The F-CAN B_H and F-CAN B_L wires are not shorted. Go to step 16.

    NO (Pattern 4)

    The F-CAN B_H and F-CAN B_L wires are not shorted. Go to step 4.

  4. Open wire check (F-CAN A_H line) 1

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 Gauge control module 32P connector No. 24 - Go to:
    Gauge Control Module Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2016 2017 2018) .
    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 9 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN A_H wire is not open. Go to step 5.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H wire between the PCM (A9) and the gauge control module.

  5. Open wire check (F-CAN A_H line) 2

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector No. 6 - Go to:
    VSA Modulator-Control Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2016 2017 2018)
    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 9 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN A_H wire is not open. Go to step 6.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H wire between the PCM (A9) and the VSA modulator-control unit.

  6. Open wire check (F-CAN A_H line) 3

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 EPS control unit connector B (8P) No. 3 - Go to:
    EPS Control Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2016 2017 2018)
    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 9 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN A_H wire is not open. Go to step 7.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H wire between the PCM (A9) and the EPS control unit.

  7. Open wire check (F-CAN A_H line) 4

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 Engine mount control unit 16P connector No. 13
    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 9 - Go to:
    PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (9-Speed A/T) (2016 2017 2018) .

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN A_H wire is not open. Go to step 8.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H wire between the PCM (A9) and the engine mount control unit.

  8. Open wire check (F-CAN A_H line) 5

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P) No. 2 - Go to:
    Keyless Access/TPMS Control Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2016 2017 2018) .
    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 9 - Go to:

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN A_H wire is not open. Go to step 9.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H wire between the PCM (A9) and the keyless access/TPMS control unit.

  9. Open wire check (F-CAN A_H line) 6

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 SRS unit connector A (39P) - Go to:

    Test point 2 PCM connector A (51P) No. 9 - Go to:

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN A_H wire is not open. Go to step 10.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H wire between the PCM (A9) and the SRS unit.

  10. Open wire check (F-CAN A_L line) 1

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 Gauge control module 32P connector No. 25 - Go to:

    The F-CAN A_L wire is not open. Go to step 11.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_L wire between the PCM (A10) and the gauge control module.

  11. Open wire check (F-CAN A_L line) 2

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_L wire between the PCM (A10) and the VSA modulator-control unit.

  12. Open wire check (F-CAN A_L line) 3

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 EPS control unit connector B (8P) No. 8 - Go to:

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN A_L wire is not open. Go to step 13.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_L wire between the PCM (A10) and the EPS control unit.

  13. Open wire check (F-CAN A_L line) 4

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 Engine mount control unit 16P connector No. 15

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN A_L wire is not open. Go to step 14.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_L wire between the PCM (A10) and the engine mount control unit.

  14. Open wire check (F-CAN A_L line) 5

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P) No. 12 - Go to:

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN A_L wire is not open. Go to step 15.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_L wire between the PCM (A10) and the keyless access/TPMS control unit.

  15. Open wire check (F-CAN A_L line) 6

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected
    Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
    i-VTM control unit 24P connector (AWD): disconnected
    Test point 1 SRS unit connector A (39P) - Go to:

    Is there continuity?

    YES (Pattern 2)

    The F-CAN A_L wire is not open. Go to step 18.

    YES (Pattern 4)

    The F-CAN A_L wire is not open. Go to step 16.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN A_L wire between the PCM (A10) and the SRS unit.

  16. Open wire check (F-CAN B_H line)

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected
    SBW shifter control module 20P connector: disconnected
    Engine mount control unit 16P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    Steering angle sensor 4P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    EPS control unit connector B (8P): disconnected (if already done)
    Keyless access/TPMS control unit connector C (20P): disconnected (if already done)
    SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected (if already done)
    Audio-navigation unit connector C (24P): disconnected (if already done)

    Is there continuity?

    YES 

    The F-CAN B_H wire is not open. Go to step 17.

    NO 

    Repair an open in the F-CAN B_H wire between the PCM (A11) and the TCM.

  17. Open wire check (F-CAN B_L line)

    -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    PCM connector A (51P): disconnected
    VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector: disconnected (if already done)
    TCM 58P connector: disconnected

  26. VSA modulator-control unit check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

    - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.

    Does the HDS identify the vehicle?

    YES 

    Replace the VSA Modulator-Control Unit - Removal and Installation .

    NO 

    Reconnect the VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 27.

  27. Steering angle sensor check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

    - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.

  28. Audio-navigation unit check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    YES

    Reconnect audio-navigation unit connector C (24P) with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 29.

  29. EPS control unit check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

    EPS control unit connector B (8P)

    - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.

    Does the HDS identify the vehicle?

    YES 

    Replace the EPS Motor/Control Unit - Removal and Installation .

    NO (2WD)

    Reconnect EPS control unit connector B (8P) with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 31.

    NO (AWD)

    Reconnect EPS control unit connector B (8P) with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 30.

  30. i-VTM control unit check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

    i-VTM control unit 24P connector

    - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.

    Does the HDS identify the vehicle?

    YES 

    Replace the i-VTM Control Unit - Removal and Installation .

    NO 

    Reconnect i-VTM control unit 24P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 31.

  31. Engine mount control unit check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

    YES 

    Replace the Engine Mount Control Unit - Removal and Installation .

  32. TCM check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

    - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.

    Does the HDS identify the vehicle?

    YES 

    Replace the TCM - Removal and Installation .

    NO 

    Reconnect the TCM 58P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 33.

  33. SBW shifter control module check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

    Replace the ANC/Active Sound Control Unit - Removal and Installation .

    Reconnect the ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 35.

  35. Multipurpose camera unit check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

    - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.

    Does the HDS identify the vehicle?

    YES 

    Replace the Multipurpose Camera Unit - Removal and Installation .

  36. SRS unit check

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 2. Do the 12 Volt Battery Terminal Disconnection procedure, and wait for at least 3 minutes.
