DTC U1280

DTC U1280  : Communication Bus Line Error (BUS-OFF)

DTCs (AC)

1. Problem verification

   - 1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

   - 2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode then the ON mode.

   - 3. Do the Self-Diagnostic Function with the HDS or the climate control unit.

   - 4. Wait for at least 6 seconds.

   - 5. Check for DTCs.

   DTC Description	DTC
   U1280 Communication bus line error (BUS-OFF)

   Is DTC U1280 indicated?

   YES 

   Go to MICU DTC U1280 troubleshooting - Refer to: DTC Troubleshooting: U1280 (2019 2020 2021) or DTC Troubleshooting: U1280 (2016 2017 2018) .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
