DTC : P2583-54

DTC P2583-54  : Millimeter Wave Radar Aiming Incomplete

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information - Refer to:

  How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (2016 2017 2018) or

  How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (2019 2020 2021)

• If the millimeter wave radar is removed or replaced, you must aim it, otherwise DTC P2583-54 is stored even if the system is OK.

1. Millimeter wave radar check (aiming)

   - 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   - 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   Clear DTCs

   - 3. Aim the millimeter wave radar.

   Millimeter Wave Radar Aiming (2016 2017 2018) or

   Millimeter Wave Radar Aiming (2019 2020 2021) .

   - 4. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then the ON mode.

   - 5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   Is P2583-54 indicated?

   YES 

   Check for loose or poor connections. If OK, replace the Millimeter Wave Radar .

   NO 

   Troubleshooting is complete. If any other DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
