DTC P0564-15 : ACC/LKAS Switch Signal Circuit Open

DTC (IDAS)
- Problem verification
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
Clear DTCs
- 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 5 seconds.
- 5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC P0564-15 ACC Switch Signal Circuit Open Is DTC P0564-15 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Go to intermittent failures troubleshooting - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) (2019 2020 2021) .
- Open wire check (DISTANCE SW line) 1
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
ACC combination switch 12P connector - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 4. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle ON mode ACC combination switch 12P connector: disconnected Test point 1 ACC combination switch 12P connector (female terminals) No. 4: (1 Test point 2 Body ground Is there about 5 V?
YES
The DISTANCE SW wire is not open. Go to step 3.
NO
Go to step 8.
- LKAS switch internal circuit check
- 1. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle ON mode ACC combination switch 12P connector: disconnected Test point 1 ACC combination switch 12P connector (female terminals) No. 4: (1) Test point 2 ACC combination switch 12P connector (female terminals) No. 10: (1) Is there about 5 V?
YES
Replace the ACC Combination Switch (2019 2020 2021) .
NO
Go to step 4.
- Open wire check (DISTANCE SW GND line) 1
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2 without disconnecting the ACC combination switch 12P connector.
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode ACC combination switch 12P connector: disconnected Test point 1 ACC combination switch 12P connector (female terminals) No. 10: (1) Test point 2 Body ground Is there continuity?
YES
Replace the ACC Combination Switch (2019 2020 2021) .
NO
Go to step 5.
- Open wire check (DISTANCE SW GND line) 2
- 1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2 without disconnecting the cable reel connector C (20P).
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode ACC combination switch 12P connector: disconnected Test point 1 Cable reel connector C (20P) (female terminals) No. 12: (1) Test point 2 Body ground Is there continuity?
YES
Repair an open in the wire between the ACC combination switch and the cable reel.
NO
Go to step 6.
- Open wire check (DISTANCE SW GND line) 3
- 1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2 without disconnecting the cable reel connector A (20P).
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode ACC combination switch 12P connector: disconnected Test point 1 Cable reel connector A (20P) (female terminals) No. 1: (1) Test point 2 Body ground Is there continuity?
YES
Replace the Cable Reel .
NO
Go to step 7.
- Open wire check (DISTANCE SW GND line) 4
- 1. Disconnect the following connector.
Cable reel connector A (20P) Gauge control module connector A (32P) - 2. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2 without disconnecting the gauge control module connector A (32P).
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode ACC combination switch 12P connector: disconnected Cable reel connector A (20P) : disconnected Gauge control module connector A (32P): disconnected Test point 1 Gauge control module connector A (32P) No. 5 - Refer to:

Gauge Control Module Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2020 2021)Test point 2 Cable reel connector A (20P) (female terminals) No. 1: (1) Is there continuity?
YES
The DISTANCE SW GND wire is not open. Replace the Gauge Control Module .
NO
Repair an open in the wire between the gauge control module and the cable reel.
- Open wire check (DISTANCE SW line) 2
- 1. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2 without disconnecting the cable reel connector C (20P).
Test condition Vehicle ON mode ACC combination switch 12P connector: disconnected Test point 1 Cable reel connector C (20P) (female terminals) No. 17: (1) Test point 2 Body ground Is there about 5 V?
YES
Repair an open in the wire between the ACC combination switch and the cable reel or replace the ACC Combination Switch (2019 2020 2021) .
NO
Go to step 9.
- Open wire check (DISTANCE SW line) 3
- 1. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2 without disconnecting the cable reel connector A (20P).
Test condition Vehicle ON mode ACC combination switch 12P connector: disconnected Test point 1 Cable reel connector A (20P) (female terminals) No. 5: (1) Test point 2 Body ground Is there about 5 V?
YES
Replace the Cable Reel .
NO
Go to step 10.
- Open wire check (DISTANCE SW line) 4
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
Cable reel connector A (20P) Gauge control module connector A (32P) - 3. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2 without disconnecting the gauge control module connector A (32P).
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode ACC combination switch 12P connector: disconnected Cable reel connector A (20P) : disconnected Gauge control module connector A (32P): disconnected Test point 1 Gauge control module connector A (32P) No. 18 - Refer to:

YES
The DISTANCE SW wire is not open. Replace the Gauge Control Module .
NO
Repair an open in the wire between the gauge control module and the cable reel.
