DTC C0041-14 : Brake Switch Signal Circuit Error

- The specific conditions under which this DTC is recorded are as follows:

- Brake switch signal is ON, but brake fluid pressure does not rise when vehicle running.
- Brake switch signal is OFF, but brake fluid pressure rises when vehicle running.
- This vehicle obtains the brake operation information used for the control of the integrated driver support system from the PCM via the F-CAN.
- If the DTC is recorded again after problem verification, perform a troubleshooting for the PGM-FI system - Go to: How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems .
- The functions of the integrated driver support system that will be temporarily canceled when this DTC is recorded can be confirmed with the Driving Support DTC Troubleshooting Index (2019 2020 2021) .

DTC (IDAS)
- Problem verification
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
Clear DTCs
- 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 4. Test-drive the vehicle at speeds 6 mph (10 km/h) for at least 30 seconds.
- 5. Press the brake pedal for at least 2 seconds.
- 6. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
