DTC : B2A60-97

DTC B2A60-97  : Dust or Dirt On The Camera

NOTE:  Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information - Refer to:

How to Troubleshoot the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) (2016 2017 2018)  or
How to Troubleshoot the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) (2019 2020 2021) .
  1. Multipurpose camera unit visual check

    - 1. Check for dust or dirt at the multipurpose camera unit, and crack, dust, or interference at the windshield.

    Is the multipurpose camera unit and the windshield OK?

    YES 

    Go to step 2.

    NO 

    Clean the multipurpose camera surface, or both sides of the windshield surface. If necessary, replace or repair the windshield.

  2. Problem verification

    - 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

    - 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

    Clear DTCs

    - 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    - 4. Start the vehicle and test-drive the vehicle at 3 mph (5 km/h) or more.

    - 5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    Is DTC B2A60-97 indicated?

    YES 

    Check for loose terminals and poor connections in the multipurpose camera unit 20P connector. If they are OK, replace the Multipurpose Camera Unit .

    NO 

    Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Go to intermittent failures troubleshooting - Refer to:

    How to Troubleshoot the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) (2016 2017 2018)  or
    How to Troubleshoot the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) (2019 2020 2021) .
    If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the Freeze data/on-board snapshot.
